Winemaker's Notes:
A distant relative, Mondeuse can share some of the more feral, floral, spice and game elements we adore in Syrah but with a more cranberry brightness. It carries acid and tannin in spades so while this wine is thoroughly enjoyable now it will definitely transform into greatness with some time; patience will be rewarded. Crushed by foot and naturally fermented all whole cluster and aged in neutral barrique. Inky in color with an electric fuchsia meniscus. Red currant, smoky white pepper, camphor and floral violet aromatics. The palate is firm and structured with fine tannin and bright acidity. 12% Alc.
