This oxidative style wine comes from grapes grown on the plot of land known as ""le vrihou"", on the south-facing slopes of voiteur, in the heart of the jura. The terroir is mainly made up of grey marl, with some fossil-rich limestone. To obtain this traditional cuvée, the savagnin is matured under veil in oak barrels for four years, then combined in equal parts with chardonnay, which is itself placed in toasted tuns for four years. The mineral nose of this wine remains discreet, all in finesse. It develops notes of dried fruit, hazelnut and mushrooms. The palate is long and intense, with beautiful curry notes typical of oxidative style wines. Marketed at maturity, this oxidative wine without excess and all in roundness will be able to sleep ten years in cellar before tasting. (EnjoyWineBCN)
