The higher elevations of southern Appalachia are home to a rather unique summer blooming tree, the Sourwood. The nectar from its rather small, white, bell shaped flowers is a regional gem, and like any gem its highly sought after. This is our favorite honey. As such, we had to create a mead that was just plain special. Light, almost buttery, full-bodied, but smooth, oh, so smooth. (Wehrloom)
